The four-legged battle for the Golden Lion has come to an end. Sunlin Ingo and Busan Go will meet in the final.
On the 25th, Sunlin Ingo and Busan Go won their respective quarter-final matches of the 77th National High School Baseball Tournament and Weekend League Wangjoong Wangjeon (co-hosted by The Korea Baseball Organization, Sports Donga, and the Korea Baseball Softball Association) at Mokdong Stadium in Seoul, Korea, to reach the final stage.
Neither school was initially considered a favourite to win the title, which made the match quite a spectacle.
Sunlin Ingo had a tough time against Daegu Sangwon Go. Having already played their ace Kim Tae-wan, they had to face Daegu Sangwon Go’s ace Kim Sang-hyun. However, they managed to pull off an 11-7 upset victory over Daegu Sangwon Go based on their batting focus.먹튀검증
Both teams battled hard from the start. After Daegu Sangwon Go scored five runs in the first three innings, Sunlin Ingo responded with three runs of their own. The game was decided in the fourth inning, when Sunlining scored five runs on just two hits while drawing five walks. No. 6 Seo Ji-min led the team’s batting with three hits. For Daegu Sangwon Go, the decision to use ace Shin Sang-hyun as the fourth pitcher to manage pitch counts turned out to be a ‘handshake’.
Sunliningo’s second pitcher, Kim Min-seong, also gave up five runs in 6 1/3 innings, but the batting line-up helped them secure the win.
Facing Gangneung Go, who were held in check by Cho “Jotani” Dae-hyun, Busan Go scored a run in the second inning and cruised to a 6-1 victory. With ace Won Sang-hyun unavailable, Sung Young-tak also struggled with pitch count restrictions, but Cho Min-woo, Kim Dong-hoo, and Cheon Gyeom held Gangneungo to two hits in a dramatic finish. Leadoff hitter Yeon Jun-won led the way with three hits and three RBIs.
The two finalists will have a full day off on the 26th and will play the final on the 27th at 10:00. SPOTV will broadcast the game.
