Narae Han Fails in the Quarterfinals of the Thailand Open. Doubles also eliminated

Following Sujeong Jang 토토사이트(Daegu City Hall, 149th), Han Na-rae (Bucheon City Hall, 176th) also failed to advance to the quarterfinals in the WTA 250 Thailand Open singles.

Narae Han was defeated by Heather Watson (UK, 160th) 3-6 7-5 4-6 in the women’s singles round of 16 match held in Hua Hin, Thailand on the 2nd. Watson is a four-time winner of the WTA tour and was a formidable opponent who reached the round of 16 in the Wimbledon singles last year.

Narae Han allowed her break in the early game because her first serve didn’t go in, but in the following game, she made her break back with a sharp forehand stroke. Afterwards, the match went fast and Narae Han took her 8th game away, giving her first set.

Going into her second set, Narae Han broke her first service game of her own. However, she did not give up on Han Narae and she showed her potential by winning 5 games in a row with a game score of 0-3. Han Na-rae missed serving for the set once, but broke the game again in her 12th game to turn the game around.

In her final three sets, Narae Han gave up her own service game and her match took over. She struggled to return due to Watson’s high serve scoring rate, and although she managed to break once, she was immediately hit by a breakback and eventually lost.

Afterwards, Han Na-rae paired up with Jang Su-jeong to compete in the doubles quarterfinals, but fell to Jurin-Wang Shin-wi (China) 3-6 3-6 in 1 hour and 9 minutes. Sujeong Jang failed to avenge yesterday’s loss in the singles match, and Narae Han tried to win her second WTA doubles title since the 2018 WTA Korea Open, but she was thwarted. Han Na-rae also won her doubles at the 2021 Korea Open, but at the time she was in the 125k series.
