Owner Jeong Yong-jin shot a lobster to replenish players’ energy… SSG Spring Camp Visit

Owner Jeong Yong-jin of SSG Landers, the winning team in professional baseball last year, visited the SSG Spring Camp magazine in Vero Beach, Florida, USA to encourage the players.

Owner Chung visited the Jackie Robinson Training Complex located in Vero Beach on the afternoon of the 11th (local time).

SSG has been looking for battery training since the end of 2011, when it was the former SK Wyverns, and after training in Korea in the aftermath of Corona 19, it revisited for the first time after re-founding as the current team at the end of 2020.

Wearing a uniform and visiting the training site, owner Jeong toured the basic facilities such as the ground, indoor practice range, and weight room토토사이트, and expressed satisfaction with the good facilities.

Afterwards, a dinner was held with everyone who participated in the camp, including the athletes and the front desk. On this day, meat such as prime rib and LA galbi and seafood such as lobster were prepared at the same time to reinforce the energy of the players who have been working hard on training for over 10 days.

Prior to the dinner, owner Jeong said, “This is the first overseas spring camp to experience while wearing SSG uniforms. I am happy to welcome all new players and foreign players who have joined the team.” I wish there was a facility where I could focus on just that,” he said.

He emphasized, “When the desire to train healthy without getting hurt and the tenacity to win and trust in each other come together, we will be able to surpass last year’s performance.”

The players were bewildered at the owner’s visit to the spring camp, but they responded gladly.

Captain Hanyusum said, “Thank you to the owner for taking the time to visit us. This will motivate all players.”

Left-hander Oh Won-seok, now in his fourth year as a pro, expressed his aspirations, saying, “It’s nice to see the owner after a long time since last year’s championship celebration.”

Lee Rowoon, a rookie pitcher who joined SSG as the first nomination last year, expressed his determination, saying, “I am stunned to see the owner for the first time. As much as I have heard good words, I will finish the game safely without getting hurt for the rest of the period.”
